Kajonkiet International School On New Site Yet?

Featured Replies

I understand that this school was due to move to a brand new site near to Tesco Lotus. Does anyone know if this has happened?

After teaching in Myanmar for the past year, I'm returning to live/work in Phuket because the accommodation situation in Yangon is not so good ==> very expensive and 12 months rent in advance to be paid! But I have enjoyed my time there very much.

My home/business in Phuket is at the airport, and I've avoided working at 'Kaj' in the past because their old site was not easily accessible for me, especially since the bypass traffic has increased over the years. But the new site could be more accessible for me.

I'd also appreciate comments from any teachers who are working at the new site. Please do not 'slag off' the school because that will get this topic locked. Send me a PM if you have to get something off your chest!

My teaching experience is split into 2 sectors: primary age kids (homeroom teacher) and adult teaching (IELTS etc). In Yangon I was Vice-Principal at a school of about 400 primary aged kids.

Their international school has been open in Kathu since last year.

Valentine, thanks for that news. Do you know if the school site is only accessible from the Tesco Lotus junction? Or is there a 'cut-through' that would allow me to avoid the bypass when driving south from Thalang?

As far as I know English Programme has moved, Thai programme is still at the old location. Don't know about the 50/50 programme (sorry, forgot the name), but maybe Valentine or somebody else knows.

The only other way is to go through the back road past BIS coming out by Loch Palm but not sure if that would really be quicker.
