2013 Iihf Challenge Cup Of Asia?

So I've seen a couple posters and ads here and there for the International Ice Hockey Federation's tournament here in Bangkok... but I have no other information than the dates and schedule from their official website; http://www.iihf.com/channels1213/ccoa/schedule.html

Anyone know where this is being held and whether it's free/where to get tickets/etc?

Games will take place at The Rink Ice Arena, which is located on the top
floor of the seven-storey shopping mall Central Plaza Grand Rama 9

Free entrance. The rink is easy to get to as the mall is right at the Phra Rama IX MRT stop. I went to watch Thailand vs. Kuwait on Saturday. Very entertaining though the level of hockey is so-so. Some good skaters but the play making skills are a little lacking, so lots of errant passes and lots of offsides and icing. I was informed the Thai goalie is a woman! (Couldn't really tell as she never took her mask off.)Good fun though and I'll definitely go next weekend to catch some more action. (Didn't know they were also on TV so thanks for that hullupullo.)

Yes there is good woman (girl) goalie in Thailand but I think she is not playing in this tourney? She played U18 boys with iihf permission cause thaiteam didn't have any boygoalie!

Yes, you're right. Just checked the rosters and the girl mentioned in the story is not listed. (I was told it was a girl in goal by a guy I was chatting with at the game -- he did seem knowledgeable about hockey in Thailand, but to be fair, as I said, we never did see him with his mask off. And with full goalie gear on, of course, you can't always tell! )
