This could be a "goodnight" thread...

every day, at the end of your last visit for the day to tv.com, pop on here, and say something interesting, and goodbye../goodnight.

I said goodbye at the beginning of the day..so heres goodnight TV at the end..

and remember if you dont wake up in the morning it will be a good sleep.. :o

Can we go back to speaking Kam Muang? Girls speaking muang are amost reason enough to go live in Chiang Mai. (or Lamphun, Lampang, Chiang Rai etc etc).

Don't think they'd say "เก่งจริงๆ เลย" / geng jing jing leoy tho.. ? Can't really think of what they would say, but 'geng jing leoy' sounds way Thai.

Also what happened to 'Aaay' instead of Pee ? :o

Another day of a job I have never done before and hate begins, but at least I get to have the internet all day again...thats about the only perk, except the lass who brings round the hot office sandwiches...bacon, sausage, egg buttys mmmmmmmmm

Goodbye, i am off out now to play some pool with the wife and then dinner round a mates house, will be back on later :D And for Rio, no the house wont be empty so dont bother thinking you can come round and rob us :o

Actually your not so wrong.. I talked to the missus and she said it can be used like this..

Bpai gon derr - I'm going first

Bpai gon/laa gon - go first

La gon can also be used just to say you are going first or goodbye :o

thats the way i understood it just now :D

Thanks, nice to see it spelled out so well. It was years ago when I learned it and I think it was from television so had to figure the context out myself. :D

Just went to lookup 'goodbye' and didn't know that there were that many choices thai2english
