Wise Choise, Or Not.?.

Featured Replies

No more Company Car, so ive done the Rounds and decided on the top Civic 1.8.. .Honda Service clinched it. Hard choise, so many to chose from. Mitsu GT was my 1St choise but no dealers near where i live. Bit Bland i must admit.

I guess if there is no Mitsu dealer around, Ford might not be there as well? Otherwise I personally think the Ford Focus is ahead of the Civic in most areas, except resale probably.

Been driving the Civic for almost 13,000kms..very fuel-efficient and power is there when u need it.Not to mention the flexibility of topping-up E85 makes it lighter for your wallet as well!Note that older gen Civics can't top E85!

Good choice+good resale value as well!

Yes, I think you're being wise. There are plenty of alternatives to the Civic, as you know, but whatever car you choose you'll be visiting the dealership periodically, so your choice to base your decision on service quality is very wise.

After leaving Bkk i never saw E85,only E 20 , and not many had that .I used Gasohol 95 one time and got no more KPL. Why do they have a Green Cannabis Leaf light up when you hit the Eco Button. So No E85 saving for me living in the jungle

The thing that i don't really like about it is it's rear tail-lamp design at least in Asian context. The American latest facelifted model looks much more better.

The gearbox-could be better upgraded to a 6-speeder instead of a dated 5-speeder though.

These are 2 of the things that i don't like about it and i could overlook it.

One thing i cant understand is why E25 gives the same KPL,if not better than Gasohol 95. E85 hasn't arrived up here yet , but in BKK i used it in a renter, with no significant drop either. This aint possible in theory i would have thought. My runs are mainly 8Hrs in one go up to Ubon Ratarsed. No doubt the Techie posters can comment.coffee1.gif

Is it about mileage or cost? I.E. same or close mileage at a lower cost? Thus as good as better mileage since price is lower?
