george Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 Bangkok Airways to fly daily on Samui-Singapore BANGKOK: -- Bangkok Airways will increase its frequency on the route Samui-Singapore v.v. to daily service beginning April 18th onwards. The airline last increased its frequency to six weekly in October 2005 and closed with an average 75% cabin factor by the yearend. To better facilitate the traffic between Koh Samui and the bustling Singapore, the airline is realizing its daily schedule by filling up a slot on Tuesdays. This happens in accordance to the improving cabin factor of averagely above 70% from the last quarter of 2005 through to February 2006. The airline uses 120-seat Boeing 717-200 to operate on this route. The departure time from Samui is at 16.40 PM with the arrival in Singapore at 19.20 PM. The return sector leaves Singapore is at 20.10 PM, and the flight arrives in Samui at 20.50 PM. After March 26th, the flight from Samui will leave at 16.30 PM, while the arrival time in Singapore remains the same. --etravelblackboard.com 2006-03-08
