I used to love trance but somehow nowadays the slightly lower bpm of progressive house appeals more to me.

Must be getting old I guess.

Still sounds good though and as long as the DJ keeps his mouth shut and just seamlessly mixes one track into the other it’ll definitely make
you want to move your feet and some more.

Yeah, I listen a lot to progressive nowadays. Check out Sima Deep sessions on YT:

I think more needs to be said here. There have been lesser known clubs in the past that didn't opt for pre-mixed main stream nonsense, and didn't really take off because of it, and there have been places which did and kept going for some time, Lucifers obviously springs to mind here. There were others who invested serious money in BKK, such as the Ministry of Sound, only to fold within a year or two. Until we know more about the dj, his style and set, I suspect you are taking a risk in turning up.

Thailand is the worst place in Asia to see any decent DJs as the clubs just won't pay the money to attract the top talent, that's why places like Bed are continually advertising C & D list performers!

Philippines and even Vietnam has a much better DJ scene than Thailand!

You don't need an A list DJ to get good trance/techno/progressive.
