Police checkpoint at Rawaii today. Soi Yuan turn iff to Kata. The cops arent interested in cars but there is a heap of honda dreams and waves there. Plus an assortment of dark oldish looking bar girls

They have been there several times a week now mid day. I had two helmetless Thai's in front of me when I came through the other day. They both got stopped. I didn't. Been through it 3 times in the last week. Always helmeted, never stopped. And I think if you watch a little you will see they are stopping cars too. They were when I passed through.

fairly similar. Normally they share the same wives as the old farangs. They dont generally get stopped at the checkpoints though
