Donald Trump Jr. Alleges Biden’s Actions Could Trigger World War III Before Trump’s Return
"Most of whose cities are evacuated, infrastructure rubbled and farmlands laid waste." This happens in wars if you haven't noticed. "much of that Black Sea Fleet is at the bottom of the Black Sea." Name the vessels sunk and how much of the fleet remains. "The peninsulas communications are dependent on one bridge, which Ukraine has demonstrated it can cut when it wants." The Kerch bridge is very tactical indeed. IMO if it's downed it want make that much of a difference. "The much vaunted Russian Army, touted as superior to NATO and almost on a par with the US" Rubbish. The Russian armed forces are nowhere close to the US, and NATO has some damn fine weapon systems, and for now US military backing and financial support. "relying on hiring in troops from North Korea to defend Mother Russia!" 10,000 questionably trained North Koreans that probably don't speak Russian ain't what I'd define as reliance. "Ukraine, battered, is still standing, still fighting and still hurting Russia, and shows no sign of failing." Agree except for the last bit. Personnel is a problem, weapons are a problem and it's Russia advancing into Ukraine not Ukraine pushing back. "NATO alliance, which is waking up to the fact that it is probably going to have to manage without the US." Agree. "The US military may well rapidly lose potency under the inspired leadership of a Fox News presenter, and with large swathes of it's command structure possibly facing dismissal or Courts Martial! Certainly no-one is going to rely on them!" Disagree. There's going to be a big shake up in the military from the Trump side you can bet your bottom dollar on that. "So when you are considering winning and losing, you need to consider more than battle maps." Although battle maps are not all the same and open to bias they are still a valuable tool for seeing how the battlefield is moving which gives an indication of the direction of the war. I'm guessing you haven't looked at a single one. I challenge anyone to demonstrate that this post shows any bias. Expecting the childish emojis but no rational and well argued response. -

Woman Found Dead in Palm Plantation Identified as Prosecutor’s Mother-in-Law
Omg 😲 I know she is not convicted yet but certainly doesn't look good. Hard to imagine being married to someone and finding out exactly what they are capable of she is not going to win any prizes for the thought she put in to the crime or cover up afterwards. I would imagine the husband must have been worth more alive than dead would give him something to think about. Seems gambling was her downfall on top of being incredibly stupid -

Gifting the Spouse
Good post. IMO- If any enforcement of the foreign income remittance actually occurs (by no means a certainty) , the gifting provisions will be relied on extensively, by anyone who takes good professional advice. Generally you seem spot on with everything, a couple of comments below: 2 comments on this. 1 - There's no need for it to be a brokerage account, it could be any foreign bank account anywhere outside Thailand, and you could fund it by using any means. Selling your funds to do this is one example, but it could be anything. 2- Assuming 'her individual account ' = a foreign account. Yes, this is conservatively 'safer' than you directly remitting the gift to a Thai bank account. It appears, it is 'safer' for the donee/recipient/giftee to be the one who remits the funds to Thailand. AND there is no Thai Income tax for the spouse regarding these funds, as they have not remitted any assessable income. Agree, as above. -

The Exodus of Left-Wing Voices: Where Will They Bleat Now?
I see (or is it "saw" now?) the Guardian in my X feed all the time. Never paused to look at it, but I guess the algorithm figured I should be exposed to it. I think that's what the Blueskyers want to avoid, encountering any other opinion or point of view differing from their own. I tend to look at comments from several perspectives on X. I just ignored the Guardian because over time I stopped trusting their content. When a publication's stories become predictable before you even read them, it's time to look for new sources. -

Intoxicated tourist detained after Pattaya restaurant altercation
Fair point - but the Options to presented were loaded - you failed to give the option. - I drink and remain within the DUI limit.... and failing to do so loaded the result to suit your DUI ideology that its ok to drive when drunk on 10 beers (just so long as you are careful of course !!)... Your use of the results to suggest that DUI is in any form acceptable is as stupid as your bigotry. What would I apologise for ??.. you ??? another Brit drink driving, another Brit making dumb generalisations ? Just as I don't need to apologise for idiotic Brits who get themselves into trouble, I don't need to apologise for you.... ... and while the 'horse' may look high from your perspective, its at ground level for people who are not DUI promoting bigots.
