Our Local Lady Bus Driver tried my Car. Why you waste money on reversing thing, it for Learner Driver. Must admit ,i never look at it. Still like my battered old Garmin as well. If you dont get the Navi, you dont get the other Gizmoes, but it does cost a fair bit extra for a GPS you cant take out. Ive noted many folks never look at the Reverse Screen, do you use yours much.?coffee1.gif

Have no need to spend the xtra monies. I think these crutches and excuses for poor driving skills and lack of caution are going to end up being more dangerous in the long run as people rely to much on them and tend to forget the real skills and juts simply paying attention.. I particularly hate the back up sensors, completely ignore them and find them more an irritant then of any worthwhile use..

Just as ABS did with novice drivers.. Quite so.

With a pickup I love the backup sensors. Must admit though I don't do much with the screen.

Hands Free Phone, and Controls on the Steering Wheel that save you taking ones eyes off the road,i find useful. The rest are a bit "Ive got that on mineish". Cruse Control i cant be bothered with either. Uses more gas as well.Built in GPS are too expensive IMHO. Rear Beepers are not consistent , my judgement is.smile.png .My Wifes isnt, Camera or not she can hit anything.w00t.gif

I'm the opposite. I really appreciate the back-up sensors. With an Isuzu pick-up there's not a lot of rear vision, so I rely on it totally. It's very accurate as well, you don't get that continuous beep until you're a few inches away.

They can be useful i agree, on your ride and you have tested them for a while, but they do vary, on my recent period of scrounging i haven't relied on them. Scrounging, by the way makes you realise how good generally rides are today.Low Ride Utes are greatly improved from my Big M Single Cab 25 years ago. Hi Riders, well ,Up to You.They slop around like a Cock in a Bowler Hat, Even with all the Anti Topplers turned on. If Yours Doesnt ,you aint Pushin On.biggrin.png

They vary so much, I like the camera on the Isuzu for the corners and occasional person walking behind..it is a big lump, Mu 7, with blindspots, but you gotta scope out too..

...my old Jag S-Type in UK has the best sound sensor I ever used, bleep gets shorter and shorter till you only got 8 inches gap left..always accurate.

E320 has a totally random sound sensor that may or may not decide to let you know if there is something there, so is as useless as a chocolate teapot, long car that could do with something good when reversing up a dark lane at night to park..

some good, some bad.....
