BANGKOK, 22 March 2013: The Taiwan’s smaller carrier, TransAsia Airways, says its new daily service between Taipei and Bangkok, launched last week, will boost two-way tourism.

The airline chairman, Vincent Lin, told Thailand’s local news agencies that the airline will tap the low-fare market in both countries.

“Around 90,000 Thais travel to Taiwan annually and Taiwan tourists to Thailand are increasing,” he explained.
