Is there an app or some way i can buy the various datapacks for true move without having to call the call centre? Ideally id have it top up on the 999 unlimited package every month automatically by credit card so i dont have to worry about it

Be careful which package you choose with true move pay&go because some, if not all, eat your credit at 2 baht/Mb after your limit is reached.

Oh and don't believe the True move service desk morons, as they don't have a clue what they are talking about. One of them wanted to call the police on me when I told him that my package uses up my credit. The next day my all my credit was drained.

then it says, your promotion not available for this package.

It sounds like you have figured out the APN settings? The APN setting are often baked-in to the SIM, but not all phones can read that information.

Note the subscription codes for a one-time, single period usage, and the codes for plans which automagically renew each month assuming you've added value.

There are dozens of ways to add value: 7/11. TrueMoney, ATM, etc.

TrueMove H's FuP (fair use speed limit on unlimited internet usage mobile data plans)is 128 Kbps. At least that's what their web-sites state. As with all things True, YMMV.
