Hi,

Has anyone bought or seen and almond butter here at all? I have been trying to find it for a while to no avail so not too sure if its available here or not.

If anyone has seen it or maybe even knows anyone who makes their own and is willing to sell it then I'd appreciate any info.

Thanks and regards,

Falcon

I have seen it - but it was a few months ago. I'm pretty sure it was in Villa (though it might have been TOPS). Next to the peanut butter, perhaps not unsurprisingly.

Just curious though, is there an inedible almond butter? And if so, what's it used for?

It is in all the supermarkets and health food stores in Chiang Mai, but almonds are expensive here and peanut butter tastes pretty good and not that expensive.

The in edible one that's available is simply made for body cream, its a good cream for the body as it contains vitamin E which is good for easing skin blemishes and scars.

Thanks to all who answered, I am in Hua hin so will check out villa here.

Fantastic and inexpensive organic Almond Butter, as well as great Peanut Butter, Sesame butter and lots more (cheaper than in the super markets), can now be purchased and delivered by Radiance Whole Foods, based in Bangkok. Sure you can arrange to have it sent to you. A great discovery! Look them up on line.
