I really do comprehend this stuff. Thai's already drive on both sides of the road. Everyone knows that. Left or Right in the Middle and around blind corners - already done! So, what is this BS all about?

Just maybe it is all a joke!!!!

"Is this an April Fool's joke?"

Of course not as I read today on the internet that the UK will also make the change. Everything you read on the internet is 100% fact. wink.png

What date is today?

Also why worry, a significant number of local drivers seem to be trying to master right-hand driving without the added cost of a refit.

Mmm..next April 1st centre lanes will be reserved mobile users and tourists?

There are 90 posts in this thread and nobody noticed that today is the 1st of April. April Fools. Ha-ha-ha... biggrin.png

It is April Fool's Day.

Hush! Don't destroy the fun!

This is not going to be good ... I can tell already ............ And I am just now getting use to left side driving . My wife asks what about our car we ll have to drive it from the wrong side now .... God help us ........

This article contains so much boasting about oneself.

Well got me for first 2 minutes.

Its April Fool's day isn't it.

THis story is real. If it was not real the mods would have removed all the posts saying it is an April Fool. As it contains many such posts it is true.

This would be major cluster fk.Other than that I like the Idea.

HAPPY April the first folks....

That is Good One for April Fools Day, Cheers

Total circus. Must be April Fools day. Sometimes scary to see what the clowns can do governing this country.

its not April 1st I suppose....tongue.png

so will the auto manufacturers change to left side steering wheel?

Spot on... your one of the few that can see the truth in the OP.......thumbsup.gif

I suppose you still believe in Santa Clause too!

You may want to stay away from any soi's or road's for about 1 year. I can see insurance rates souring. I can only shake my head.

But the steering wheels are already on the right hand side of the car!

I drove my left hand drive full size American Chevrolet pickup Truck for three years in Bangkok and never got a scratch on it, only people that were ticked off were the MotoCycles that couldn't weave their bikes around me...........Win Win but it was a pain paying the toll booths unless I had a passenger...........giggle.gif

Is this sponsored by the Japanese? Does this make every vehicle in Thailand useless? What is the cost of switching a car over to the opposite side? Which goombah will profit from this?

Sent from my GT-I9300 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

Did anybody see what date is today: 1. APRIL
