What made you think that?

They have not been required for a very long time.

At the moment the only visa that requires a medical certificate is the OA visa issued at an embassy or consulate in your home country.

In case you need a medical certificate: Dr Thiti is recommended, 100 Baht, no questions or bloodcheck either, but the certificate in 5 minutes. From Chalong circle towards Rawai, 100 mtrs right hand side

Sounds like the medical certificate to get a drivers license. The person should also still be alive; if not, the medical certificate cost will be 200 baht but still issued in 5 minutes.wink.png

Why are you all writing about getting a medical certificate that is not required for an extension of stay (unless you have to use one of two immigration offices reported as wanting one).
