seasia
Hello I currently sometimes use AIS 3 G, with an AIS dongle, marked 7.2 Mbps connected to my laptop. It`s OK but I wouldn`t mind getting something faster if possible. Pattaya area. I notice AIS now have a dongle marked 21.6 Mbps and was told , (by the man trying to sell it) this would be better. Someone else has suggested I will not notice any improvement as the network cannot support that ? A speed test did seem to suggest that I was not even getting close to what my current dongle claims. TOT have a big poster offering 3.9 G, claiming 42 Mbps. I honestly have no idea Can I get something better/faster or not? I do suspect from what I`ve read the answer is No. Thanks for any constructive answers.
Harper99
I think you can stick with this Dongle, cos it doesn't matter 7.2 Mbps or 21.6 Mbps devices. what will give you reliable speed is a coverage area and your selected package. AIS is currently providing New 3G under 2.1GHz in Pattaya and will officially lauch this for other provinces as well, check out here http://www.ais.co.th/3g/index_area-en.html
