My fiancee has been given an interview at the British Embassy in mid April, nine weeks after we applied for a settlement visa. We have nothing to hide, but nonetheless, we're keen to ensure that she is as prepared as possible for the interview.

I'm posting to ask if anybody can give us an idea of what questions she will be asked, the line of questioning and/or any other information that will help us to prepare?

Thanks in advance!

I have been told this by many people....

Honesty is the best and only policy. If an ECO even gets the slightest wiff of an untruth they may expand on that particular question and therefore comporomise the applicants credibility if they prove to be correct in their suspicions.

Its simple, tell the truth and they may well be impressed by your honesty.

It's very important HOW she dresses...

This too is very true, no jeans or Tshirts. A nice conservative blouse/shirt and skirt/trousers is a must.
