Litecoin Mining Rig

Featured Replies

Hi,

someone has any Idea where I could safety store a Crypto Currency mining rig in Thailand?

In my condo is not possible. No power and AirCondition guarantee.

You could get an uninterrupted power supply, or like five. Or you could hack a car battery set up together as backup power, of course with some surge protection.

Where do you source good hardware in Thailand, and what's the price compared to other countries?

I think if you are paying monthly for a place to store your rig, you'll need some ridiculous hardware to break even, and to continue breaking even as the difficulty rises.

You could colocate it in a datacenter. Doesn't come much safer and reliable than that. But like the previous poster pointed out it might not be financially viable.

Doubt you can afford any extra overhead at all.

An hd7950 based rig will do around 600 KH/s, netting you less then 40 LTC/month (3600 Baht).

The rig will burn already around 1200 Baht in electricity (at official electricity price of +- 4 Baht/unit).

Not too much left, especially considering the price of decent gpu's here in Thailand, and when difficulty will go up it'll look even worse...

Of course, if you you have a 10+ gpu super duper mining rig :-)
