I have read many threads on this topic but to be safe I would like more clarity ,Sorry!

I have a question on a one way flight from Los Angeles to Bkk It
appears that there is much speculation as to weather a onward ticket is required
and that some airline workers won’t step out of the box to check the
IATA data base regulations so they stick
to airline policy . So that being said ,to be safe I think it best to purchase
a cheap onward ticket. Is a itinerary as good as a ticket? Is the
onward ticket time sensitive, can I schedule the onward ticket for any time during my stay in Thailand
ie: triple entry visa Aug 22- 2013- May 2 0- 2014 ? The onward ticket
destination is that also one way to another country?Do I have to physically
leave to that country. I’ll probably have more questions as I get into the responses .

Thanks

It is only when you travel without a visa that you risk being denied boarding at the departure airport. With a tourist visa in your passport, there is no such risk.

A triple-entry tourist visa will be valid for three entries into Thailand within 6 months from the date of its issue. On each arrival you will receive permission to stay for 60 days which you can, if you wish, extend by 30 days at the local immigration office in Thailand for a fee of 1,900 Baht.

AS stated, if you have a vlild visa you do not need an onward ticket. If the check in clerk gives you any problems just request to speak to their supervisor.
