Khao San. Entering from Ratchdamnoen Klang you can cut through an alleyway which brings you into the middle of the Khao San (saving too much trouble with dread-locks). The shop is on your right as you come onto the Khao San. The grumpy lady in there sells a fine selection of rolling tobacco and papers from all over the world including GV. Happy smokes.

Google map for you

If you are flying to London next week and you transit through Dubai , buy your GV at the duty free shop there, its a lot cheaper than buying in Thailand .

Think. not 100% sure I paid 840bht last week in swampy for 5x50g (=£18.60 approx).I know it has increased since last November. I pay almost that for 50g in UK. Difficult to believe it's much cheaper at other airports. Interesting to read I can buy it in BK. The only other place I have seen it in the Thailand was on walking street in Changmai last year...and yes, it was the genuine item ( with a pack of rizlas) and the same price as swampy duty free. I find it the same price in all the duty free shops there so no need to shop around.
