My ex chinese wife is looking to get married in thailand. We ourselves married in thailand many years ago and have got divorced in thailand so she has the papers to show this. She now wants to marry her chinese BF in thailand but she says her friend has told her that things have changed and she cannot get married. I'm only in contact with her through SMS at the moment as she is in china so not getting full reasons why it has changed. Can anyone give me a reason why if any there is changes.

Nothing has changed that I know off.

Both will need confirmation from their embassy that they are free to marry. Their embassy procedure might have changed. I suggest checking with the Chinese embassy.
