Is there an accident in Patong? The road is backed up to Kalim. Song roi Bee Rd is jammed up too. Im guessing an accident on the hill near the temple

Nah it was different today. Absolute chaos. I had to stop for a sang som set to calm the nerves

Large flatbed truck stuck and blocking just past temple. Took about 1 hour from the roundabout at the north end of beach road to the temple. Then, the intersection just past the police check point was flashing yellow in all directions, and an absolute disaster.

    That would be enough to completely block traffic out of Patong.

    A weighbridge before the hill might be a good idea.

    Traffic in Patong, its surroundings, North and South the coast, on to Kathu and in and around Phuket Town,

    nearly the whole island south of Surin and the Heroines Monument is heavily plagued with congestion.

    Reminds me, Traffic wise to PENANG!

    The main reason, why I do not LIKE Phuket anymore, visiting it since 1990 and even some years living there full time.

    Another truck stuck today on the back side near the bottom. Running 1 lane each direction at 1500.
