CPH
Naam, you seem very knowledgeable in bonds. Do you have a list of bonds in the 7-8 percent yield area you would like to share with us.what currency? what maturity? what credit rating? my questions are rhetorical, i don't expect an answer.but here's some short information: -the dominant currency in bonds was and is the US-Dollar, -the dominant currency in bonds for years to come will be the US-Dollar, -the widest selection in maturities, ratings, yields and whatever matters one finds in bonds denominated in US-Dollars. are you still interested inspite of a zillion clowns parrotting "the US-Dollar is doomed"? Currency USD Maturity 15-20 years Credit rating as high as possible but maybe have to be around BB to B to give 7-8% I am okay with USD, think it will go up in coming years. Thank you for your quick reply

Thank you for your quick reply PM me your e-mail and i will send you the latest UBS "Emerging Market Top List" (88 pages). note: "B" is not for faint hearts. if "B" then double digit yields! ...in my [not so] humble opinion

farang000999
So let's see the results of the bonds listed in this thread. How did Naam's picks work out so far?
Naam
So let's see the results of the bonds listed in this thread. How did Naam's picks work out so far? checking HY-bonds after a year doesn't make a lot of sense as active investors use the price volatility to cash in by trading and switching. very few HYs are "buy and hold".
