Assuming that the money was originally transferred to Thailand from overseas are there any restrictions on transferring money back overseas from LOS?

Its a lot harder transferring out,have you got your notification and paperwork for bringing

the money in, if so that will make it easier ,just go to your bank and see what happens,and

please post on here about the outcome, it may help anyone else in the future.

If it's a large amount of money, the bank may be reluctant to part with it. Hope your health hasn't declined so that your current signature looks just like your signature upon opening the account. Also bring your old passport with you, if that was the passport used to open the account. Also, the transaction will probably have to be done at the "home branch" of the account, ie the branch where the account was opened.

These are all roadblocks I've known bank managers to employ in trying to stop or delay large funds transfers out of Thailand.
