June 11, 201312 yr Hi everybody, I'm not looking for hardware customization, that is easy. What I would like to know is, does anyone know of a service in Bangkok that is capable of customizing a Macbook Pro by painting and/or the Apple logo on a 2013 Non-Retina Macbook Pro? I know it can be done in Europe, Japan, or the US from places like http://www.colorware.com. I've done some looking around, but seem unable to find something similar and when searching, I didn't come across a similar thread in this forum.
June 11, 201312 yr There is an Apple repair shop on the 4th (?) floor of Pantip Plaza. If they can't do what you want maybe they can point you in the right direction. They speak good english too.
June 11, 201312 yr The colour options offered by that site are amazing, but the full option colourisation on a 15" MBP(top, logo, screen surround, main case, trackpad and bottom) costs $2870!!! Mine is 17" and I'm guessing that custom colours would cost more than the machine itself....

I'm not looking for the full deal, just the top, main case, base, bottom, and maybe the doing something with the logo. I wouldn't be surprised if going all out would cost more than the original machine. When I played around with the site, my options came out to $500 if I remember right.

Update if you find somewhere to do this in Thailand .... I'd like to get something done too..

Mwah-hahahaha! I think you're right! Makes more sense! I couldn't believe the prices I saw but on closer inspection the spec list does include the computer.... Now to find somewhere in Thailand that can do this - it's the sort of work they tend to be quite quick at adopting and doing well here.
