Never mind. Many of us have psychic powers.

It's a Flowering ginger spiecies, Globba Winitii, in Thailand 'Dok Khao Phansaa'.

It's noteworthy because it's actually native to Thailand.

Funnily enough I'd never seen this variety of ginger until lunching at The Dukes last week where they had it on each table. Walked across to the flower market afterward, to walk off 150 bahts wort of awesome ribs, and there it was!
