I'm heading out to the MIX restaurant in Chiang Mai, the food is superb.

This guy here is shrimp wrapped in salmon with lime sauce. Superb.

Last night in CM with The Blether, then back to the peace and quiet of Krung Thep...(after 7 days with Blether, Bangkok IS quiet)

On that subject, we're getting picked up at 7.30 Dr Strange, Mercedes girl is picking us up so get yourself smartened up for a change.

By the way Smokie, it would be a close call between you and Dr Strange for bletheryness and staying power, I think between the two of you I would have some moments of silence. On the other hand you would both crash out well before me as you are relative lightweights, I'm just not sure who would crash out first.

I'm trying to finish off as much food as I can that remains in the fridge/ freezer before I fly out Thursday morning. Salted duck egg and grilled shrimp salad with half a baguette.

Mini Cornetto wafer with red curried crab and raw chilli

Stir fried pork, glass noodles and salted eggs with mixed veg

Autralian Red Sirloin Beef Curry with Roti.

Deep Fried Honey Chicken

Stir fried veg with smokey bacon

US Scallops in a panang caurry sauce

Steamed Sea Bass in Hot Chilli and Lemon Sauce

Molten Lave Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream

The unbelievable Japanese Mix Berry Crepe with strawberry sauce.

All in the company of Mercedes Girl and Dr Strange, a fantastic night out.......that's just one of the things I did today......

Add Jasmine Steamed Rice, a bottle of red wine ( which Mercedes Girl drank all by herself ) 3 bottles of large Singha, a Cointreau and lemonade, ( which Dr Strange drank ), and a bottle of Soda water, ( that I drank ) and the total bill was 3,240 baht.

I'm not telling you how much tip I left, some of you get quite upset over said issue

Nice pictures. One thing I would say is why does everyone serve a stir fried vegetable dish (with or without bacon) in a dish, it should be served in a bowl and would in general look better for it.

Because it spreads out and looks like more , the same reason little tiny portions of expensive things are served on a big mostly empty plate.

Nice photo. If the ROI on the pineapples is a bit slow, what about go karts?

Looks like Chonburi. Lots of pineapples (and excellent white wine too) in Loei province but the terrain is different.
