I set up a savings account for her separate from the household account. I told her if she does not touch the money and shows me that proof I will augment that savings account every month for two years. If she dips into the fund then no money for that month will be added. This account is her nest egg and it's up to her to manage it properly.

Last gift to my Thai girlfriend which was 10 years ago (by which I mean I have not had a Thai GF in the last 10 years) was some Victoria Secrete lingerie which she had asked me to buy for her while I was in the states.

She had quite a giggle when she noticed the tags on them said made in Thailand!

I had quite a giggle visiting several VS shops in Houston trying to find size 0 lingerie.

The last gift i gave my G/F was a bikini and her first trip to an island and swim in the sea.

Inadvertantly I recieved a free gift from her, by seeing the happiness on her face, (she did not come out of the water for two hours)

May be the proper question to ask was :-

What was the last gift your Thai lady gave you ?

And did you like it?

:beatdeadhorse:

She made the down payment on my new truck (in my name) so she's a keeper in my books.

A steamer for ironing clothes. She begged for it. Presented on her birthday. My clothes have never looked better.
