But to answer your question, yes far too many....the Thai goverment should make it harder for farangs to live here long term...increase the fees for the visa's, make the qualification for extension of stays harder, increase all the finanical requirements.... Only in the tourist type places, historical places, and major towns and villages. I havent seen many businesses not welcome tourists. At least the nice tourists anyways. The most hostile Thai vs farang behavior I've seen is here on TV And to be honest, this is the internet, where men can be women, girls can be boys, and i'm sure where farang can act like Thia's, and Thai's act like farangs. On the rare occasion I interact with them unfortunately. And that's the point - "read" about them daily - "meet" them rarely - don't believe all you read perhaps? Some places there are many - others not a one - at least in my experience. Reason most of us see farangs every day en-masse is because we choose to live where other farangs live.
