Hi guys

I have to do my first 90 day renewal next week. I am married and have a child here. What exactly do I need to take with me this time in order to get my renewal? Passport marrage certificate??

thanks

What are you talking about - if you have a multi entry visa you must exit the country and return for a new 90 day entry - if you have an extension of stay for Thai wife you only need to extend that yearly. If you are actually talking about 90 day address reports suspect it will be what you took last time to include the current receipt for last report and the TM.47 form filled in. Advise exactly what you are doing and where for positive information. Thanks.

It would really help if we knew what you intended to do.

If you intend on exiting the Country and returning to activate your next 90 days all you need is your Passport.

Sorry I must be dum.

Yes this is what I intended to do (leave and re enter) just wondered if I needed any paperwork etc etc or even my wife being with me or can I do alone. This is the first time I have stayed 90 days and then made another 90 day visa.

All I wanted was some friendly advice. Damn forgot this is TV wink.png

I have read the difficulties with visas just did not want to personally experience one.

Yes. Just leave Thailand and enter Malaysia and return.

Only your Passport and entry/exit card is needed.

Depending on your nationality you probably do not need a Visa to enter Malaysia.

You go to checkpoint and exit Thailand - Satun to Langkawi ferry and entry that country and then you can turn around and exit Malaysia and re-entry Thailand for a new 90 day entry on your visa. If you are from most countries no visa is required for Malaysia so no fee for that or photos required and no fee to exit/enter Thailand.
