Living in Kata good or bad

I have lived in ''Kata Beach'' for nearly 3 years, and i really enjoy living there... its a nice quality of life..

Yes, it does get a bit busy in ''High Season'' but in general its ok..

Nice, restaurants, Cafes, etc etc... lovely beaches...

Great and safe for your wife and kids..

I would never bring up a family in an area like Kata due to the high numbers of Amphetamine addicts, criminal gangs and ladyboy gangs as well as the commercial poontangs - this area is better for the adventurous sexpats

Although Kata wouldn't be my choice for full time living with a family as opposed to a holiday, none of your descriptions are applicable to Kata, in fact they're absurd and only serve to prove you've never actually been there.
