Premier League TV coverage - showing action replays

Featured Replies

Just a small thing that really gets my goat is when they have to show action replays while the game is still in progress facepalm.gif i find it so frustrating that they go back to a game after a replay and you realize that you have just missed a goalmouth incident or some other piece of action sad.png

Iv'e noticed while watching Aussie rules that when they show a replay they actually showing the live game in a small box in a corner, surely if the Aussies can do it and lets face it they are not exactly the sharpest tools in the box then English TV can do it whistling.gif

They don't tend to do that in the Premier League, the producers normally wait until there's a break in play.

Some HK amateur, on the other hand....

I like the way that major rugby games play back to the stadium screens as well. Players stop and watch also!

But rugby has more natural breaks than football.

Yes, but egg chasing is not a proper sport.

I've never seen a PL match where any action has been missed due to replays, I'm sure the producers are well aware that it is not to be done. I like the idea of a box in the corner, but sods law the live action will be down in that corner when the replay is on.

Why worry? You know there will be an action replay of it anyway :)
