wolf5370 Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 Hi folks, just a small alert - Details here http://securitywatch.pcmag.com/hacking/314361-black-hat-don-t-plug-your-phone-into-a-charger-you-don-t-own Basically a charging device has been developed that, when you plug your IOS device in (IOS 7 is being changed to protect against it), if it is unlocked at any time during the charging (or has no locking password set) then it is paired as a dev device - this allows hidden apps to be installed. So, if you need to use a hotel charger etc, make sure it is password locked - guaranteed the build instructions will appear on the internet any day (if not already).
