iPad 3 and truemove 4g

Featured Replies

Hello everybody I have an ipad 3 on true move 3H+ that connects at almost 10mbit most days. This is fine but I know that my iPad 3 supports 4g on 2100mhz that true move have just launched. But when in a 4g area I can only get 3G HSDPA+. Why can't I connect to 4G. Do I need a carrier update? I understand that 4g 700 only works in America as it is a different from the rest of the world, 2100 is not. So I think that I should be able to connect?

Thanks in advance.

iPad 3 supports 4g only in USA and Canada.

iPad 4 does it world wide.

I'm not 100% certain but believe the A1430 supports AT&T's LTE Band 4 (1700-Up/2100=Down) while TrueMove H's limited LTE deployment operates on Band 1 (2100),

I do not believe your iPad 3 (model A1430) would ever work with TrueMove H's LTE deployment.

I think you'd need an iPad 4 (A1460), an iPad 5 (A1429) or an iPad Mini (A1455).
