So who's going to be the first to go, Rooney,Suarez or Bale ?

Rooney.

(Conventional number 9 first season or two. Slightly further back for the rest of his career with Chelsea. Mourhino rates him).

You need a Drogba.

I could see rooney doing a drogba style job and doing it well, as it is he's body strength is really good and's double hard to shrug of the ball. if he concentrated solely on that c/f style of play rather than being the multi tasker he's been at man utd imo he could well be awesome and develop FULLY into the player we expected him 2 b @17

No 9 is the least of Mourhino's concerns.

Lukaku aint done it for the chavs yet. Let's see.

tb fair smokes he aint really had a chance at the chav's, and i'm half way hoping he don't get one under murrey boy biggrin.png cos i'de like us to go in and steal him himbiggrin.png , like i said we should have done with sturridge whistling.gif

bac to the original question, double hard to predict, and tbh i'm bored with giving stick to jack and his crystalsbiggrin.png and he's probably feeling rather sore about them by now cheesy.gif sori just couldn't resist it

If he concentrated on playing as you say rijit there would be no problem. As it is he is past his sell by date already and we are going to be fortunate to get over 25 million for him when he goes.

yeah coarse he is redcheesy.gif thats why your so keen to sell him mate clap2.gif and you bit the chavs hands of for their money!!!! but really red he's a bit of a victim of his own all round footballing ability , strengthen and bulk him up a touch and bobs your uncle

imo he'd be a top top draw c/f for at least 3 maybe 4 seasons, and if i were playing ide sooner be up against drogba any day than a bang on song rooney.

Well we will sell him but he has to man up and put in a transfer request just like Bale and Suarez ...far to many of these footballers are listening to agents and lawyers these days.

If we get 25 Million for him i will be delighted ....did you say bulk him up?? he needs to get fitter mate and lose some fat from last season anyway.

I also disagree with your thoughts on him being an out an out C/F his best position will be as an attacking midfield if he was fit.

Serves you right for overpaying him if you can now only get 25m for him, Redsmile.png . Worth 35m+ on a non-team wrecking 150 grand a week.

Fitter doesnt always have to mean trimmer red, and no need to ignore the cardio or flexibility work but a few more muscles and a bit more strength wouldn't go a miss as a c/f,.but No agreed atm thats not his best position and at utd unless there are injuries, by moyes own words he aint gonna really get a chance to develop it but IMO for the next 3 /4 season thats where he see's himself and more to the point i reckon where emurry boy and Dodgyson see him playing. enuf time to do a bit of a P S and drop deeper later , no doubts he can

I think UTD will only sell Rooney if they perceive that Rooney going to Chelsea will not benefit them as much as they would benefit from getting Fabregas or Ronaldo back. Utd also need to get someone big in as its Gollums first season and the club needs to make a statement to say yes even this manager can attract world class talent.

think they've got one mate in lukaku. rooney's never been a number 9, whatever he might like to think.

That crazy 'ol diva still has it. He can probably only be worth a darn for 50-60 minutes, but still lethal.

drogba's genuinely one of the most amazing footballer's i've ever seen live. he's incredible. if he doesn't want to be stopped that game, you're not stopping him. often technically better than he got credit for too. just a one man forward line who terrorised defences. massive <deleted> of course but that goes with the package like.

Did look like it last season....but let's wait and see. You're not looking too shabby yourselves upfront this season Stevie.

us mate? we're way off really. don't know that suarez is staying yet and probably won't sign costa. so a front three of coutinho, aspas, borini? nah, nowhere near yet man. think coutinho's going to be amazing this season as it goes. as in next world star stuff.

I would go for Bale Spurs would be mad not to take the money no economic sense in trying to keep him.

But what about if we don't need the money ?

That would not change anything no player is worth that amount of money . this massive amount of money I think could make you a stronger club on the playing side if you signed 2 or 3 quality players.

We could certainly do with that amount of money to spend on players that is for sure.

Eplain which players you would vuy mate and how they would replace Bale and make us a better side.

Point taken,

What is he than stevie? thats part of the issue everybody has their own idea's on it, he's never really established himself anywhere, its just sort of taken for granted he's a good footballer and can play almost anywhere, and consequently sort of 'suffered', not really a good term, for it. Now at 27?maybe its time to change that,? i think he reckons so, and tbh I make him right.

To be fair this is all getting very boring, but at least while the scousers are talking about Suarez they're not talking about the top 4 laugh.png

you were saying something about 'boring', alfie?

No waffling.

Rooney first to Cheatski.

The Biter next to ARSEnal

Bale to the club of his choosing NEXT Summer. Only caveat to that is if we win the Premiership he will stay at Spurs until Summer 2015 (on the assumption his revised contract will run until 2016/17)

meanwhile the talk of winning the title is now being mooted about by spurs fans....

Is it? I've not seen that.

However, since its now looking highly likely/inevitable we'll keep Bale most football fans would acknowledge we are looking a very strong side that could beat anyone. Would you disagree with that?

Barring CB we are looking a very good prospect with cover in all positions....something we have not had in my memory.

Not saying we will challenge for the title....but I think a top four spot is likely this year.....still...the transfer window is still open...wait and watch what happens!

Lets just leave it that we are very strong and will beat anyone on our day.wink.png

There will be a much clearer indication where we all stand at the end of the window. Sept 2nd isn't it....
