We were good enough to do that last season....now we might beat a few of the weaker sides who just want to defend for 90 mins I hope.

Yes, Manchester United

meanwhile the talk of winning the title is now being mooted about by spurs fans....

Is it? I've not seen that.

However, since its now looking highly likely/inevitable we'll keep Bale most football fans would acknowledge we are looking a very strong side that could beat anyone. Would you disagree with that?

Barring CB we are looking a very good prospect with cover in all positions....something we have not had in my memory.

Not saying we will challenge for the title....but I think a top four spot is likely this year.....still...the transfer window is still open...wait and watch what happens!

Lets just leave it that we are very strong and will beat anyone on our day.wink.png

There will be a much clearer indication where we all stand at the end of the window. Sept 2nd isn't it....

I can't disagree with the buys you have made on paper. Obviously like anyone else I'd say it's a 2 horse race already, but the only team that I would think would follow next is Spurs (at the moment).

If ever there was a time to capitalize it's now, especially if it stays quiet in the Arsenal/United transfer front.

No waffling.

Rooney first to Cheatski.

The Biter next to ARSEnal

Bale to the club of his choosing NEXT Summer. Only caveat to that is if we win the Premiership he will stay at Spurs until Summer 2015 (on the assumption his revised contract will run until 2016/17)

Agree. But maybe Suarez to foreign club.

Chelsea, yes, with you there. But City? Not too sure about them at all! Spurs are going to provide some interesting debate in the months to come me thinks.

Think city have improved myself. Smarter manager and have strengthened midfield and attack.

And I will quietly think differently for now....... This is the year of the new order

Yep. your emerging side looks full of promise.

But Mourhino won't let you win it.

Yup, remember post #55... Bookmark it... At least the last paragraph (could be wrong about the Biter, he might already be in Uruguay playing golf). Tottenham are real contenders this season and the opposition are taking very serious notice!

Suarez and Bale wont move this transfer window......Rooney,maybe,but it would have to be a deal that suits both clubs.

Rooney plus 15m for Mata and Luiz ??whistling.gif
