Hey,

I've come on the 30 day tourist visa, needed to extended it so I went to Laos for a 60 day but I received a 90 day visa (stoked).

My question is have i used up all my extensions due to them giving me a 90 day visa?

You should be able to get a 30 day extension at immigration.

jawdoe, you did not say so but it appears that you went to a Thai consulate and obtained a single-entry tourist visa valid for travel to Thailand within 90 days or three months from its issue date, and on arrival in Thailand your received permission to stay for 60 days. As has been said, you may apply at your local immigration office office for a 30-day extension of stay. Apply any time during the last three weeks of your permission to stay; the 30 days will be added to the end of your current permission to stay.

ok thanks guys, I have received a 30 day extension.

Now just to confirm this is the last extension I can receive?.. : standard 30 days on entry + 60 day extension via Laos + 30 day extension BKK. (without flying out)

You got a visa in Laos - not an extension. Do you have any valid reason for extension of stay, such as marriage to a Thai, retirement?

Unless you got a 2 entry visa you will need to get a new visa or do a border run for 15 days or fly out for 30 day entry.

yeah sorry 60 day visa not extension. Reason to stay longer is I am lodging visa's for my family to come back out to Australia. I would have liked to have started the process earlier but we had some trouble with my wife's documents due to marriage in Australia (not married in Thailand). So its more of a time issue for me now. I have been advised its around 2 weeks to process visa's but just a little worried it might take longer & I will run out of time.

can you explain this a little more... I did received a 2 entry visa of 60 days from Laos, which has been used up, i just went and got another 30 days..so flying out and back in I am thinking all i can do if I haven't received visa's for family to Australia in time?

If your wife is Thai you can get a 60 day extension to visit her.

You will need wife to be with you when you apply plus marriage certificate, her ID, house book and copies of them and your passport pages plus TM6 departure card.
