Car seat covers-where to buy?

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I'm looking for seat covers for my car.(just my 2nd car, very old one...seats are very "shabby" but makes no sense to spend 6000 Baht and more in an upholstery shop..) I was checking at Big C (inside) but I didnt't see seat covers at all..

Any idea, where to buy and what would be the approx. price?

Thnks a lot

There are lots of upholstery shops around that will do up your seats very cheap. There is a car shop on the left hand side at naka intersection. It always has old vw beetles and old volvos out the front that have been restored. My TGFs cat ripped up the seats in my car on the way to the vet and I had to get them fixed. They took me to one of their mates down the road a bit further. They were really helpful guys. Ive had a few dealings with them and they are great for a lot of things

On this subject of seat covers, does anybody know where I can get my car seats upholstered in leather in Phuket (not PVC)

Any of these small seat places mentioned above will be able to order leather to your specification. You might need to wait for leather cloth to arrive and you will need to pay a deposit to cover material costs. The leather cloth is not so cheap.

Much obliged for the information, I've heard that it will cost around Baht 15000 for my Honda Jazz which is not too bad.

Should be cheaper than that. I paid 10,000 baht for a large sofa chair to be covered in leather. I used the place in Kata on Patak road near the first 7/11 after Wat Kata. Mind you they took about 2 weeks to order the leather cloth and another week to do the work. I was well pleased with the finished product.
