I don't think that anyone has mentioned it, but I have seen the amount of milk that a kid can suck down.

If you are considering buying kids that are not fully weaned, I would imagine that it would cost quite a lot to buy milk/formula for them.

I don't know this for a fact, but maybe somebody else knows how much milk they would need for a day.

If you want to buy a goat or 2 just ask any Muslim in town.

They will have a brother / uncle who will sell to you

Just hope he is the legal owner

Hi, I live half-way between Udon Thani and Nong Khai and got 1 male a i pragnant goat 2 years ago and now have 7 goats all of which are meat goats. 1 goat just recently died from a leg injury and 1 week later another one hurt his leg but gets along well on 3 legs and is too small to slaughter. We have just built a new house for them which is well off the ground to keep them dry and they love high places. They are not too difficult to take care of and the wife ties them up every day as we have no fence. We have 8 Rai so there is lots for them to eat but they are fussy eaters and will always eat the better stuff first. They also eat a lot of human food such as bananas and stale bread that we have thrown out but they don't like my beer but like a salt lick. The male goat has to be tied down and also the biggest female but the kids can be left to run and if you take the female to another spot the others will follow. Also they will go back to their goat-house on their own once they get used to it. I want to get a female milking goat and breed it with my male meat goat as I think that it would produce a better quality goat and I would like to hear from others about this. Any input would be helpful. Thanks
