Buy Mazda 2 without Thai guarantor

Featured Replies

Just wondering if anyone knows if Mazda are good for a farang to buy Mazda 2 on finance without a Thai guarantor? I have work permit very good salary and payslips, worked here for 7 years etc..

The Mazda 2 is going to be discontinued i believe and they are giving some decent discounts on them too, i would only be willing to pay 20% down max but was just wondering about the guarantor part.

thanks in advance

Just shop between dealers. If one refuses, go to another one. I believe you should find one who will accept.

With a Work Permit and good salary and good credit history (do you have a credit card?), you should not have any trouble. In BKK, for sure, there should be no trouble.

I've found increasing the deposit removes the guarantor, ask them what % you need to put down in order not to have a guarantor.

Yes i have 2 credit cards with decent limits on them, 1 with kasikorn and the other with Aeon

Good. Be aware however that in general 25 % is the lower limit for financing without guarantor. You may find someone willing to give you 20 % down, but it will take some shopping around.

With 50% deposit. No work permit required. Just a 6 month bank statement and no guarantor.
