Touch screen or mouse - not both?

After a year of being unable to get menus or option lists using normal mouse on USAA website using Chrome but working on Firefox and IE did a re-install of Firefox and and then no menu same as Chrome. A new Google (had look many times before) found this website information:

Sure enough using that bit of knowledge brought site up in Chrome and Firefox and works fine if I use my normally unused finger to screen. Somehow new software is smarter than us and if we have a touch screen computer they are going to make sure we use it.
