Store for professional kitchen utensils (small Restaurant)?

Looking for a store, which sells (semi) professional kitchen-utensils here in Pattaya.

Something like this shop in Bangkok:

UNION KITCHEN

I know, there are a lot of stores in Chinatown (BKK), but I wonder where I can find a similar store here.

And no, the shop near Foodland or Makro doesn't fit my needs. wink.png

Thanks

Pattaya Klang (Pattaya Central Road) short upon Tony's Fitness Center.

Unfortunately, I don't live in this area, so I don't know where Tony's is.

Do you have a google maps link or something similar?

Yes, two stores one next to foodland modern and bright. The other is just up from The Boat both on Klang. I doubt they have what you want but they may be able to order it or tell you who might be able to get it Bangkok is more likely. My friend who used to run a restaurant bought a load of equipment from the UK as he couldn't get it here. He sold up last year through an auction house in Pattaya so that might be a useful place to check as well.

From the first post:

I went to the shop on the 2nd road, but they sell almost the identical items, as the shop near Foodland.

Good for any kind of "accessories", but (almost no) machines or professional stuff.

You might also try verasu.com.

Verasu is very expensive and it seems, that their target customer is more or less the wealthy hobby chef, but not professional equipment.

This plastic meat-mincer is one of the cheapest, you can get in Germany, ~60€ incl. free delivery.

And their price is more than three times higher without delivery.

No way.

Seems (like always), Bangkok is the way to go....

There are also a lot of "pseudo online-shops", or Facebook-sites, usually thai-only and without any prices, so you have to ring and ask for every item...<deleted>...

God, why is Thailand so crappy antiquated in any kind of (e)-commerce. saai.gif.pagespeed.ce.f25DL0fHCd.gif

(^^ Sorry for my frustration)

There is a fair store right next to Foodland as you exit to Klang. Central dept store has some good stuff, but expensive.

Sent from my GT-N8013 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

Central is no more expensive than other stores if you're comparing quality. You'd be amazed at the deals you can find there everyday if you look around... quality items at discount prices... and quality items you won't find elsewhere.
