Who Are These "slg" Guys ?

I noticed them last night in Polo. Group of 4 guys with short hair cuts, 2 way radios, and white t-shirts with "SLG" on the sleeves. Spent quite a bit of time hanging around the entrance to the girls dressing room, then left.

A couple of them came back a little later, looked around and left again.

Reminds me of a group I saw last year, the "Courtesy Patrol". Same idea, group of 3-4 guys with short hair and t-shirts, hanging out in go-go bars.

So are these "SLG" guys another kind of "Shore Patrol" ? "Service Liasion Group" ? "Sleazy Life Guards" ? "Slutty Loose Guys" ?

Exit routes, current bar fines, current prices for "other activities", where the best looking girls are working (scoop 'em early before the rest of the crowd arrives :o ). Rough job eh !

On my way to Big C last night, I saw these "SLG" guys had an area blocked off near Tipp Plaza (between #2 road and Beach Road).

Part of the area was blocked off with sheets of corrugated steel, and they had some Thai guys (with ID cards and radios) monitoring the entrance. I thought I could see a bunch of tour buses in behind the blocked-off area, but then the moto-taxi guy guy decided to make a suicide dash between a baht bus and a double-decker tour bus. I quickly lost interest in what ever was going on in Tipp Plaza :o
