I remember a thread that talked about a different unit price for electricity specifically for agriculture.

However I cannot find the thread through the forum search engine.

What i would like to know is: Is it true that there is a reduced rate for farmers? How much is it? What do they charge to install a separate meter for it. And while we are at it, what is the current unit cost for electricity?

The reduced rate of electricity for farmers the first 100 units = 0.6452 Baths/unit, from 101-more = 1.7968 Baths/unit.
Or Time of use (YOU) rate

The user must be Juristic persons.such as state organization, farmers' co-op or farmer's group (the purpose for water pumping)

We can change from what we use to TOU (Time of use) meter but cannot change back to regular meter.
Off peak rate is 1.2246 B/Unit (2200-0900)
On Peak rate is 4.3093 B/Unit (0900-2200 and holiday)

The rate not including Ft

For changing to TOU meter we have to pay for a 10 (100) amp computerized meter and fee about 17,000 Baths.
