Knife makers in Bangkok

Some months ago I was in a department store in southern Bangkok where a knife maker has his cutlery on display.

Of particular interest to me was the Kukri's he had on display,sadly he was gone before I had a chance to purchase one..

I have tried the Chatachuk Market with no success.

Any help would be appreciated....

Unless you're in the Gurkha regiment, in which case you would have one anyway, am interested as to why you would want a Kukri.

There is a great range of good knives available on any market.

Why ?

The particular Kukri I saw was a work of art,damascus steel,inlaid handle...

Apart from that I still have my issue cutlery from my time in Vietnam...

Fair enough. I've never seen anything like that here.

I have learned that if you see something you really like then buy right away as chances are it won't be there tomorrow or ever again.
