i got my asus netbook and unfortunately no cd-rom or dvd-player on it.

i bought this dvd i want to see, but have no clue, what to do.

yep, stupid, i know...

there is no tv in my room, if so i would have to organize a dvd player as well.

i assume/hope somebody here has been in the same situation and knows the solution.

or should i go to panthip plaza and they figure smth out?

thx for the help in advance!

External drive about 900 baht and up, depending on model.

Always handy to keep for future travel.

Alternative, get someone to transfer off dvd and put on usb drive.

the internet cafe sounds good, but it´s a tv-series with lots of episodes. guess i have to find out, how much the hour is.

transfering the dvd to usb: im pretty sure that somebody at pantip plaza can do this. lets see

thanks!

First get the hola add on/extension for your browser. then go to www.viooz.co see if the movie you want to watch is listed or go to hulu.com for tv stuff.

I'd buy an external USB DVD or even BD drive. My current laptop has an internal one (which started acting up a little) but I've noticed I haven't used it much at all.

Once it dies, my next laptop will be a slim profile, lighter model so it won't feel like a brick in my backpack. I doubt I'd ever buy another laptop with a built in drive so an external one is a good to have in case you need it.

I haven't used dvd drive for a very long time now, only uses ext hard drives now.

OP why don't you download the tv series from one of the many torrent sites, I have downloaded many TB's of stuff from there.

Or internet cafe as suggested or don't you have a friend that can help you?
