rubl
"Transport Min to enforce seat belt fastening on all public buses and vans" In other words since we find it very difficult if not impossible to enforce proper driving standards, we will try to make sure that if there is a crash you're be able to fly of the bus still safely on your seat. Of course it's obvious that enforcing the excisting law of seatbelts will be as succesful as our enforcing of proper driving ... eh eh ... Next question, please.
abq2020
In light of the many bus and mini-bus accidents, not to mention 'local' air carriers 'driving' off the runways....it about time something is done to protect the passengers. Haha. Another of the perpetually misguided solutions to misunderstood problems. Hey, Thailand....how about focusing on qualifications of commercial drivers, road worthiness of the vehicles, and enforcement of traffic laws (such as very high speeds and other careless driving).
