Indian blue peacock.

Featured Replies

Someone in Chiang Mai is selling an Indian Blue Peacock. 4500 Baht

(I was going to post the F/book page, but they're funny on here......in a strange sort of way. smile.png )

PM me if you think Peacocks are the next sliced bread.

Regards.

Is there any practical use for peacocks? I've never heard of people eating them or the peahens for that matter.

Fun to look at though.

If you have a peacock you will never have any snakes ,or peace around the house as they are noisy buggers.

Not so noisy according to the guy selling them. (well, he would , wouldn't he) Apparently the guinea fowl are much noisier. smile.png

Oh, did I mention that he's also got Black swans for sale? (he might have cygnets, not sure) Jet black with red bills. Really beautiful. 'And white swans.....dwarf European geese....shaggy ducks.....a whole collections of exotics.

Regards.

Trust me: they make one hell of a racket.....

I don't know about Thais, but many people think that peacock feathers in your house are bad luck. Given superstitions here maybe this is not a big seller.
