Surely once a VPN is connected it should work for all programmes accessing the net?

If you read the FAQ it tells you its not really a VPN but a browser plug in much like Hola but different!

I especially like the following about Hola http://hola.org:

  • Free
  • No trouble with anything else
  • Does not slow down data transmission
  • Remembers all my choices
  • Automatically reverts me back to my country
  • I can remove the unblock if necessary
  • Works almost 100% of the time
  • No complicated installations or scripting required
  • All in all a great piece of software

got hola installed for chrome never has worked.

I just checked it out and added to my Chrome. Hola is great but it is more of a tunneling device than a VPN. ZenMate gives you a choice of five locations to be your proxy locales; it also encrypts your browsing traffic thus better privacy. Good deal for free, they do warn you that a Pro (paid) version will be forthcoming.
