Nissan Frontier automatic transmission

Im thinking of buying an older Frontier, maybe 07-09, but have heard there are serious problems with the automatic transmission. Has any one had problems with the transmission, like coolant getting into the box? Sounds like an expensive problem, but dont know if it is with made in Thailand trucks, or in other countries. If any other serious problems, would like to hear about them. Also the mileage would be interesting to know, difference between manual and auto, but I think in city driving, it wouldnt mater so much.

My wifes cousin has a 3.0 auto one, think an '07 never had any trouble, I borrow it from time to time, still runs sweet.

Never heard of a problem. Bullet proof box, but like anything, nothing is infallible.
