Patong Hill stuck - Patong to Kathu nogo

Featured Replies

Just got the message from a friend by phone. More info unknown...

Accident must be behind hill. (Seen from Patong..)

Apparently 5 vehicles involved but no injuries. Should be solved relatively quickly.

Very useful info, thanks for informing us all.

Looks like same place and scenario as the bus the other week.........Post office truck this time but rolled back the same as the bus did..w00t.gif ..

Yeah, literally 20m from where the bus went in.

I had a similar incident unfold in front of me this morning. coming down the hill into Kata from Chalong, but the truck driver kept control and managed to use the Oceanview Condominium entrance to do a quick 3 point turn in the middle of traffic. It was transporting hotel employees. Could have been a nasty one.

1 hour 40 minute drive from Kamala to HomeWorks. Bypass road was a mess too. Coming home was a breeze. All clear.
